The first annual Nicole Wilkins Fitness Championships we held in Nordic Fitness Expo at Lahti, Finland on October 11. IFBB President Dr. Rafael Santonja has given two IFBB Professional Cards for the overall winner of both categories. 74 competitors of 12 nations participated championships and judges were all IFBB International and Pro Judges. In Nicole Wilkins Fitness Championships were held doping tests approved by WADA and Finnish Anti-doping Committee.
In the Body Fitness overall pose down there were three great competitors: Julie Oftedal from Norway (- 163 cm), Adela Ondrejovicova of Slovakia (- 168 cm) and Ellen Elisabeth Berg from Norway (+ 168 cm). the overall title went to Adela Ondrejovicova and now she can compete as a professional in Figure Pro Division.
Bikini Fitness overall pose down Lone Norås of Norway (163 cm), Egle Eller-Nabi of Estonia (- 168 cm) and Kathrin Hollmann of Germany (+ 168 cm). The overall title and the IFBB Pro Card went to Estonia’s Egle Eller-Nabi who took the challenge and compete immediately as a Pro at the Nordic Pro Championships where she placed respectable 7th place out of 13 Pro Competitors. What a Cinderella Story!
Next year the Nicole Wilkins Fitness Championships are held on October 10 at the Nordic Fitness Expo, Lahti, Finland. And of course, the 4-time Figure Olympia Winner will be back to give out the trophies for the winners!
