But even if you have heard of them in passing, do you really know what they are and why it is that aspiring body builders want to use them? It is always nice to learn about new things and even if you have some sort of background in the world of body building, it is good to learn everything there is to know about peptides and maybe why you should start using them.
Essentially, peptides are a small chain of amino acids that is not quite long enough to be considered a full protein (which is less than 50 units). Peptides are in uncertain terms, the building blocks that create protein. The protein in turn is what helps to create muscle, and in turn, helps create definition and toning in the body. They can be found in supplement form and are essentially added into a trainer’s existing diet and bodybuilding program.

So for what reason would it be that athletes and bodybuilders use them then? This answer is simple; they use them to help speed up the process of gaining muscle mass. When you lift weights, your muscles will tear and rip in tiny ways, the healing effect after these tears are what makes the muscles increase in mass, and that is what you see when you actually see defined muscles. With taking peptides, the anabolic effect that they have on the muscles during lifting helps them repair the muscles quicker, and thus getting the desired effect of having more muscle mass and less body fat, sooner as well.
While many bodybuilders use them, for a number of reasons, it does not mean that everyone must use them. I have only known recently about the benefits of using peptides for bodybuilding. Some bodybuilders opt to take peptides instead of steroids because it has far less side effects. In fact, it has little to no side effects, making it the perfect substitute for steroids.

But we need to understand that peptides work more for muscle repair and regeneration. But still, peptide use is not allowed in competitive sports. It's very difficult to find out though if an athlete did take peptides because it cannot be detected in urine. Blood tests can detect peptides, but they take quite a long time to do and are quite expensive.

Anything that increases your GH level will help I reducing fat. Men lose fat around the stomach and women lose fat on the thighs.

Since peptides do not come with unwanted side effects, in order to ensure a faster muscle build up I think I will like a combination of peptides and weight lifting.

Ofcourse, you are not going to gain muscle mass without working muscle tissue.
