With the interviews and documentaries of fighters that I have seen, I find so few fighters who are comfortable with the camera. Most boxers and MMA fighters, even champions, are shy in person and hesitant to reply even if they fully understand the question of the interviewer. They say that fighters are focused on the arena for fighting as if they are detached from the real world that’s why when things become serious like an interview, they sometimes clam up.

Its natural for someone who has immense potential and self confidence to act the opposite in social situations. The converse is true. Those who display macho personalities are more often than not wimps in order to mark their inadequacies.
