Olympic basketball 1972 - US versus Russia

This is the most controversial basketball finals in the history of the Olympics. It happened in the 1972 Munich olympics when the US basketball team suffered its first ever loss after winning 7 consecutive olympic gold medals. The score is 51-50 in favor of underdog Russia. Aside from the upset win, the last shot was protested that it was a pass from an inbound play where the inbounder was stepping on the line. Oh well, Russia retained the win and now it is history.

Well this is well before my time but I am pretty sure that I have heard some things about the game. I do enjoy hearing about the Olympics and all of the history that goes along with the games though so this is certainly right up my alley.
