Mona sulaiman was noticed in the tracks because she is the only woman runner in barefoot. But despite not having running shoes, Sulaiman won 3 golds in the Asian Games in Jakarta in 1962. She was proclaimed the sprint queen of her time. She held the national record for the 100 meter dash for a long time. But her success was somewhat marred by accusations that she was not a woman. The allegation was not proven though.
