Truly there’s a big difference in terms of excitement. Sports fans prefer the no-holds barred mixed martial arts fighting than the Muay Thai kickboxing which is a safer sport. Injuries are common in MMA fights while Muay Thai fighters are spared from heavy damage. In Muay Thai, kicking and using the knee and elbow are allowed. It is kickboxing in the true sense of the word while MMA has grappling and all kinds of submission techniques like the choke. Oh well, fans prefer MMA and so do I.

Well I know that there were some differences but when it comes to understanding all of the nuances of each of them I must admit that I get lost in the shuffle a lot. It is nice to get some basic things down though so thanks.
