    Andre Ward retires

    Young at 33 with an undefeated record of 32 wins with 16 knockounts, light heavyweight champion Andre Ward called it quits. Ward also held the championship belt in the super middleweight for a time. His last fight was a unanimous decision win over Sergey Kovalek from whom he snatched the 3 titles in the light heavyweight division. Ward plans to work as a sports broadcaster.

    Wow, retiring at 33 is not something that you see everyday, but of course most people also do not take beatings for a living. From what it sounds like though he was doing most of the work with a pretty impressive record. Something makes me think he will be back.
