Brazilian Fabricio Werdum solidified his hold as the #2 contender for the UFC heavyweight division by beating Marcin Held via decision. It was a rough and tumble fight but #8 contender Held appeared to be slow against the quick-footed Werdum who almost dominated the fight. Current champion Stipe Miocic is just waiting in the wings for his next fight, probably with Werdum.

It is just nice to read about and hear about the heavyweights, a class I am a little more familiar with. I know some of the better fighters are in the lighter weights but there is still something to watching the big lugs go at it.
