Milan Melindo of the Philippines, the current IBF light flyweight champion, will be staking his belt against WBA super flyweight champion Ryoichi Taguchi of Japan. The unification fight will be held on New Year’s eve in Tokyo, Japan. Melindo has a fight record of 37-2 with 13 knockouts while Taguchi has 26-2-2 win-loss-draw record.
