With his 32nd win, the undefeated Vargas won in all the scorecards of the 3 judges as 118-110, 117-111 and 116-112. Hovhannisyan's record fell to 14-3, he is trained by Freddie Roach. But the scores do not reflect the bloody face of Vargas from cuts inflicted in the last 4 rounds of the fight.
