Taguchi loses WBA and IBF junior lightweight belts

It was the first defense of a unified title by Ryoichi Taguchi of Japan who holds the WBA and IBF junior lightweight belts against challenger Hekkie Budler of South Africa. Unfortunately for the Japanese champion, he was outpointed by a unanimous decision of 114-113 in all the cards of the 3 judges. Dubbed The Hexecutioner, Budler now has a record of 32 wins against only 3 losses while Taguchi has 27 wins with 3 defeats and 2 draws for his fight record.

I think it's a well deserved decision for 30 year old South African Hekkie Budler after his defeat from Filipino Milan Melindo, who in turn lost the belt to Ryoichi Taguchi last december.
