Still undefeated, Khalid Yafai of Great Britain retired challenger David Carmona in the 7th round when Carmona's trainer surrendered to protect his fighter from more harm. Carmona fell to the canvas on the 1st and 4th round and was knocked down twice in the 5th round. Yafai upped his record to 24 wins with 15 KOs while Carmona suffered his 6th loss with 21 wins and 5 draws.

I think the damage that was done when Carmona took that left hook to the temple from Yafai midway the first round was what weakened him. But then again Yafai is a really great fighter.
