IBF minimumweight champion Hiroto Kyhoguchi has moved to the light flyweight division and the vacant throne will be contested by No. 1 contender Mark Anthony Barriga and No. 3 contender Carlos Licona. Barriga is undefeated with 9 wins while Licona has 13 wins. Both are not heavy punchers with Licona having 2 KOs and Barriga with only 1 KO win. The championship fight will be held in September.
