Whole Grain Bread is a very healthy alternative to conventional commercial white bread which has much less nutritional benefits than whole grain breads. Whole grain bread promotes heart health and lowers the risk of Diabetes, Obesity, and Stroke.
It's high on nutrients and Fiber.

Maybe for nutrition, whole grain bread has more to offer but I still prefer the traditional wheat bread because of the taste. With the whole grain bread, I am somewhat annoyed by the whole grain whenever I am eating and maybe it is psychological but I feel like there is dirt in my mouth like rice husk or something. Another downside to whole grain bread is the cost, it is more expensive.

I really like whole grain breads, and even eat a lot of the multigrain breads as well, and always liked the taste better than the other breads. Some healthy reasons to eat whole grain breads are fiber, and this can be found in the bran. Also I like that whole grains provide several grams of protein per serving , and they have some good antioxidants which are great for your health as well.

Yeah, darker bread is healthier no question, and makes us feel more full, so we end up eating less.
