I've seen the trailer when YouTube recommended it. Finally a transformer movie without a hot chick that distracts us from what the film is all about. For sure this will be a hit. I'll watch this as soon as it comes out in cinemas.

This Bumblebee movie looks like a lot of fun, and I see the Bumblebee Transformer action figure that is in this movie, which turns into a VW Beetle car toy, is sold out on Amazon already.

I'm glad they stuck to what Bumblebee truly is which is a Volkswagen Beetle and not that Camaro depicted on the previous ones. I guess Michael Bay did have a deal with Chevrolet to use that model to portray the cute Autobot.

This looks really promising, especially the fact that Travis Knight is directing this film

A lot of heart and respect. Steinfeld killed it, Travis Knight is a force to be reckoned with, script was witty. Third act was a tad spotty with too many cliches and tropes, but the character work in the first two adds real emotional stakes. No real "wow" action moment like Michael Bay can deliver (ex. The HALO jumps and wing suits in TF3), but no CGI incomprehensible nonsense either, like Michael Bay often does deliver. Slick, competent and heartwarming, it is my favorite of the Transformers movies and promises a bold direction ahead.
