Amid the protestation of #1 contender Colby Covington, UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will stake his belt against #2 contender Kamaru Usman on March 3. Woodley will protect his fight record of 19-3-1 while Usman is on a roll of 9 consecutive wins in the UFC for a career record of 14-1. According to Covington, Woodley is evading him and chose a lesser opponent in the person of Usman.

It was a stunning show of wrestling skills that champion Tyron Woodley looked like a weakling. He was dominated by challenger Kamaru Usman in the 5 rounds and there was no doubt that Usman is fit to be champion. Usman showed fhis strength not only with the wrestling and grappling but also with the power shots on the body of Woodley.
