Muay Thai champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao will defend his ONE FC muay thai flyweight title against Jonathan Haggerty on May 3 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Thai champion is an icon of Muay Thai hence it cannot be denied that he is the favorite over the Englishman. But not to be discounted, Haggerty has his own credential that makes him a worthy challenger for the title.

It was a big upset to defeat the Thai icon of Muay Thai and the young challenger claimed the One Flyweight Muay Thai title by sending Sam-A on the canvas twice. Jonathan Haggerty was full of pep and vigor with his relentless attacks that ruined the disposition of the champion. Haggerty deserved the unanimous decision not only because of the knockdown but more for the good fight that he brought to Sam-A.
