Chinese boxing champion Can Xu will defend his WBA featherweight title against Japanese challenger Shun Kubo on May 26 at the coastal city of Fuzhou, China. Can Xu has a fight record of 16-2 and only 2 KOs while the challenger has a record of 13-1 and with 9 KOs which means Xu should be wary of the strong punches from the Japanese challenger.

Although lacking in big punches, the champion used his speed and agility to rain punches on Kubo that caused a knockdown in the 5th round.
