Undefeated Callum Smith will defend his WBA super middleweight belt against Hassan N’Dam as the undercard of the Joshua-Ruiz bout in New York on June 1. Smith is heavy favorite since he was the winner in the World Boxing Super Series by knocking out George Groves. Smith has 25 wins with 18 KOs while N’Dam has a fight record of 37-3 with 21 KOs.

WBA super middleweight champion Callum Smith knocked down N’Dam every round until the referee stopped the fight after the 3rd knockdown in the 3rd round because it was obvious that N’Dam couldn’t fight decently anymore. It was almost a one-sided contest aside from the knockdowns for Smith having the majority of power punches landed 50-12. Maybe Smith will have the chance to face the popular Saul Canelo Alvarez for his next fight.
