Re: Cage Warriors 106 - Welterweight title - Ross Houston vs Nicolas Dalby

It would be surprising to hear the no contest result of this bout because it is a championship bout. Anyway, what happened was that Dalby suffered a deep gash on the forehead during the first round. In the second round, Dalby hit Houston straight in the face for a bloody nose that was probably broken. In the 3rd round, the blood on the mat was so much and that the fighters were having a hard time with the slippery mat. The referee decided to halt the fight for verdict of no contest. However, both fighter were awarded new belts for their contribution to the sport.
