With a fight record of 18-1 and 12 KOs, legendary Cuban amateur boxer Guillermo Rigondeaux is on the trail again in hunt for a championship belt. This tuneup match against Julio Ceja may be it but Ceja is no pushover with his fight record of 32-3 and 28 KOs so Rigondeaux cannot be relaxed on his heels. Former amateur boxing standout Guillermo Rigondeaux won the right to challenge the champion by claiming the WBC interim super bantamweight belt by knocking out Mexican Julio Ceja in the 8th round. But Rigondeaux seemed to have lost his style for Ceja had outboxed him and was leading in the scorecards before the knockout.
