Heavyweights Dillian Whyte and Oscar Rivas will contest the right to fight the WBC heavyweight champion in this eliminator bout. Rivas from Colombia is undefeated with 26 wins and 18 KOs while Whyte has only 1 loss with 25 wins and 18 KOs. The fight will be held in the O2 Arena in London on July 20.

The bout was close enough but the judges have made their decision for a score of 115-112, 115-112, 116-111 all for Dillian Whyte. Oscar Rivas suffered the first loss in his career with 26 wins and 18 KOs while Whyte now has a record of 26-1 and 18 KOs. Having claimed the interim belt, Whyte is now poised to challenge a heavyweight champion for his next fight.
