Vietnamese Martin Nguyen from Australia will defend his One FC featherweight title against Japanese Koyomi Matsushima on August 2 at the MOA Arena in Manila. The champion is 12-3 in his career while Matsushima has 11-3 for his fight record. Nguyen hopes to retain his belt in underestimating the Japanese challenger.

Re: One FC featherweight title fight Martin Nguyen vs Koyomi Matsushima

The champion from Australia and Vietnam seemed confused with the grappling and takedowns of the Japanese challenger. But in the 3rd round, Nguyen was able to get his rhythm with the continual strikes to the head and body that wobbled Matsushima. Before the end of the round, Nguyen gave his best shots that forced the referee to stop the fight in order to save Matsushima from further punishment.
