Knockout artist Mike Perry is back in the octagon against Vicente Luque on August 11 in Montevideo, Uruguay. With his first 10 wins, all by KOs, Perry is still formidable even with his current 12-4 fight record. Luque who is rated #13 in the division has a career score sheet of 15-6-1. Let us see if Perry can once again win by a KO.

The tit-for-tat affair between the 2 fighters went on for 3 rounds. And although Perry suffered a broken nose, it was clear that he was ahead in the striking department with his heavy shots hitting Luque most of the time. It was a savage fight with a surprising decision that gave a split decision win for Luque. Maybe Luque was just lucky with the judges but in my book Perry was the clear winner.
