The WBC flyweight title fight Charlie Edwards and Julio Cesar Martinez will be the undercard of the Lomachenko-Campbell bout. This will be the 2nd defense of Edwards for his WBC flyweight title on August 31 in London. Both fighters have only 1 loss in their career. The champion sports a record of 15-1 and 6 KOs while Martinez has a record of 14-1 and 11 KOs.

It is another controversial ending in boxing when Julio Cesar Martinez was proclaimed WBC flyweight champion via a knockout win over Charlie Edwards. It was a clear knockdown in the 3rd round but as Edwards started to rise, he was hit by Martinez while his knee was still on the canvas. Mauricio Sulaiman of WBC quickly rebutted the decision of the referee in stopping the fight as TKO. The fight was officially ruled a no-contest.
