Both are offensive fighters with heavy strikes. Ranked #4 Cerrone has a fight record of 36-11 while #5 Gaethje sports an MMA record of 20-2. At this early, Gaethje is a -190 favorite in the betting.

Some quarters are saying that this is a mismatch because Cerrone is not in the level of Gaethje who is a terror with his low kicks and his punching power cannot be denied. The only flaw of Gaethje is his stamina that he might not last 3 rounds. On the other hand, there is no doubt in Cerrone’s stamina and this would be the deciding factor if the fight would last the full route.
