Japanese Hiroto Kyoguchi will defend his WBA junior flyweight title against compatriot Tetsuya Hisada on October 1 at Osaka Prefecture Gymnasium in Osaka, Japan. The champion is undefeated with 9 KOs in 13 victories while the veteran challenger sports a fight record of 34-9-2 with 20 KOs.

It looked like a one-sided fight with the champion retaining his WBA junior flyweight belt in defeating Hisada by unanimous decision 115-112, 116-111, and 117-110. The undefeated champion improved his record to 14 wins and 9 KOs while the challenger suffered the 10th loss in his career.
