The wife told police her husband used anabolic steroids and watched pornography in the presence of their young child.
Patrizio Arciola, a 42-year old man from Connecticut, was arrested almost one year after his wife submitted photographs of his steroid stash to the local police. Arciola turned himself into the Westport Police Department after an arrest warrant was issued on September 20, 2019.
Arciola was formally charged with charged with possession of a controlled narcotic substance, sale of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, risk of injury to a minor and criminal possession of a firearm.

The wife sent pictures of his steroid stash to police after she witnessed him watching porn with their young child.

Arciola’s wife filed a complaint with the Westport Police alleging that her husband behaved inappropriately with their child on October 11, 2018. She claimed that Arciola had asked their 2-year old child if he/she would like to burn themselves by placing their hands on a hot stovetop. Arciola was also accused of watching pornographic videos while lying on the couch with his wife and child.
The wife also took photographs of Arciola’s steroid stash. She further claimed that Arciola had asked her for some cash to buy steroids. The cash was converted to Bitcoin so that he could purchase steroids online.
Based on the information provided by the wife, Westport Police officers obtained and executed a search warrant on Arciola’s residence.
Police investigators seized two boxes of syringes, and large quantities of injectable steroid vials and oral steroid pills. They also found a CO2-powered air pistol, several CO2 cartridges and numerous pellets.
Arciola was booked at the Westport Police jail. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond. Arciola was arraigned at Norwalk Superior Court on September 23, 2019.
