Bodybuilding Nutritional Supplements - Useful Info
By Natron IChango

Nutritional supplements are the addition that needs to provide extra resources for the well being of the body's health, as not always the healthy diet can get it. The bodybuilding nutritional supplements are specially created to offer high quality sources that can be faster absorbed into the body. All these are considered in the form of vitamins and minerals bringing an increased amount of energy and strength.

When bodybuilding is taken into account the nutritional supplements most commonly met are in the form of creatine, protein, amino acids, cartilage/joint products as well as testosterone boosters. The bodybuilding nutritional supplements are divided into 3 groups - supplements for muscle building, weight loss supplements and joint/injury preventing supplements.

The first group of nutritional supplements consists of amino acids, testosterone boosters, and creatine, the second group including ephedrine-free fat burners, fat blockers, and all-in-one kits. The third group contains glucosamine sulfate and chondroitine sulfate. Bodybuilding nutritional supplements not only help in building a great physic but also help in improving the overall well being of the body systems.

The products that are on top among the bodybuilding nutritional supplements consist of protein powders, meal replacement powders (MRPs), maltodextrin, weight gain formulas, nutrition bars, probiotics, fat-burners, creatine monohydrate, thermogenics, and glutamine.

MRPs contain essential acids, high protein content, essential vitamins and minerals, moderate levels of carbohydrates. The today's protein powders contain ion-exchange whey powder of high quality being easily digested and absorbed into the body while muscles can benefit a lot from them.

The formulas for weight gain are conceived for slimmer bodybuilders containing 50 g of protein/serving and 600 calories with plenty of carbs in them. Maltodextrin is a synthetic complex carbohydrate that works great for body that are under great energy demand. Probiotics (found in yoghurts, capsules) are the good bacteria living in the digestive system promoting the healthy functioning.

Nutrition bars can be considered a healthy snack but they might as well present light traces of additives and trans-fat. There are also pre-workout drinks as energy drinks with various tasty flavors. Among these ones there are also energy drinks rich in sugar that must be avoided.

The fat burners are made of ingredients that literally burn the fat through the mean of thermogenesis. The herb called ephedra should be contained as ingredient, while creatine monohydrate must be present as well to increase the levels of energy, hence the performance.

The latter one is the mostly researched one among all the bodybuilding nutritional supplements. With the glutamine, the bodybuilders claim that this one can assist with muscle building while researchers still need to find the connection between the muscle mass and the substance.
