The almost finished negotiation for a heavyweight unification bout between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua fell on the floor. Deontay Wilder’s option for a rematch was sided by a judge that Fury has to fight Wilder in a rematch (their 3rd meeting) by September 16. Promoter Bob Arum may be dismayed but he said that he is not paying Wilder money to forgo with the rematch. That means Fury versus Wilder will be it.
