The 2024 Strongman Champions League (SCL) Holland, held on June 22nd in Groenlo, Netherlands, witnessed a remarkable debut by South African strongman Rayno Nel. Competing in his first SCL event, Nel not only emerged victorious but did so in a commanding fashion, winning five out of six events. This impressive feat against a field of 13 elite strongmen, including former World’s Strongest Man (WSM) competitors, marked him as a formidable force in the strongman community.

Event One — Truck Pull
The competition kicked off with a grueling Truck Pull, where athletes had to pull a 16,000-kilogram (35,274-pound) truck 25 meters within 60 seconds using an arm-over-arm technique. Rayno Nel secured his first win with an impressive time of 33.34 seconds.Results:
