The 2025 CrossFit Open concluded with outstanding performances by Colten Mertens and Mirjam von Rohr, who topped the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively. With participation exceeding 200,000 athletes globally, this year’s Open again highlighted CrossFit’s substantial appeal and prestige as a leading fitness competition. The three-week event took place online from February 27th to March 17th, with final results now officially confirmed.

Men’s Division Results and Athlete Highlights
Colten Mertens dominated the men’s division, finishing first overall with only 4 points accumulated across three challenging workouts. Mertens displayed exceptional fitness, winning two of three workouts (25.1 and 25.2). In the third workout (25.3), Mertens narrowly missed victory, finishing second behind Dallin Pepper, who recorded the fastest time by a margin of 16 seconds during the workout announcement event.The top 10 rankings for the men’s division were as follows:

Women’s Division Results and Athlete Performances
In the women’s division, Mirjam von Rohr successfully defended her 2024 Open title, securing first place with a total of 13 points. Von Rohr dominated the initial two workouts but faced significant challenges in the final workout (25.3), finishing 11th. Despite this setback, she maintained her top position narrowly, edging out Feeroozeh Saghafi by a single point.The women’s top 10 rankings were:
