Big Ronnie Coleman the King! Giving kudos to Kevin Levrone, Flex Wheeler and Shawn Ray!

"This is a dedicated to my good friend Kevin Levrone. He always did this pose before we went into his side chest pose. Of course he did it way better than me because I’m just doing my best to copy him. Kevin, Flex and Shawn are the 3 greatest posers in the sport of bodybuilding ever. My first Olympia win was a complete copy of one of Shawn Ray’s posing routine. I just put in a tape of one of his Olympia routine and copied it pose for pose. Of course Shawn did it wayyyyy better but I give it my best shot. I guess I didn’t do that bad because I won my first ever Mr. Olympia after placing ninth the year before. So thanks Shawn, Kevin and Flex for all those great posing routines. And thank you Raymond Cassar for taking the best photo’s ever."

“The one that stands out the most to me is ’01, where I was totally dehydrated the day of the show, and I was thinking I was going to die. That stands out to me more than any other show because I was on my way to the hospital and Chad (Nicholls) called me and said ‘Don’t do that!'” Coleman said.

“I wasn’t cramping or nothing, I was just exhausted, tired. I didn’t have no energy. When I went to get out of bed, I couldn’t hardly get out of bed because I was so exhausted and tired. I went to try to walk around a little bit, and I didn’t have no energy to walk around. I was like ‘Man, I’m out of it. Ain’t no way I can compete like this.'”
