Rey is going to whoop Franklin's ass in that bout. Undefeated with 22 KOs is no joke that's for sure.

Manzanilla floored the champion in the second round but Vargas was able to recover beautifully. The fight reached the full route of 12 rounds for a unanimous decision victory for Vargas. All the 3 judges scored it 117-108 for the champion. It was the 4th successful defense of the WBC junior featherweight belt for Vargas who is ranked #2 in all featherweights by Ring TV.

Damn! Manzanilla got a great left hook. Things were kind of looking shaky for Vargas when he got dropped in the 2nd round. Also, the cut on his left eye during that head clash halfway through the fight didn't help. But that is what you get for grabbing your opponent every chance you get!

I told you guys Vargas was going to take this one home. It was a tough fight and for a moment there I thought the champ was going to lose the bout but boy was I wrong. Now this is the kind of fight that is worth the money.
