Anyone else think Lashley is biting off more then he can chew?Bobby Lashley, who made his debut for TNA Wrestling on Sunday night, has posted an announcement on his Twitter page (Twitter.com/fightbobby) that Bob Sapp will be his next Mixed Martial Arts opponent. Sapp is a former NFL lineman and K1 kickboxing star with a 10-3-1 MMA record.
According to MMAJunkie.com, the fight will take place on June 27 from the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, MS for an upstart (and currently unnamed) MMA promotion.
Lashley is 2-0 in the MMA world, most recently defeating Jason Guida at the March Badness boxing & MMA Pay-Per-View on March 21st. Sapp is 5-1 in his past six MMA fights, most recently defeating Akihito Tanaka on New Year's Eve
in Japan for the K-1 Dynamite!! promotion. Sapp is a monster and will be Lashley's biggest challenge to date.
