Kuala Lumpur, September 17, 2024 — We confirm that a bodybuilding athlete who participated in the 53rd National Bodybuilding Championship, also known as Mr. Malaysia 2024, has tested positive for prohibited substances. The Anti-Doping Agency of Malaysia (ADAMAS) has temporarily suspended the athlete pending a formal hearing.
Detection of Prohibited Substances
The athlete's samples were analyzed and found to contain stanozolol and its metabolites, including stanozolol-1´N-glucuronide and 16β-hydroxy-stanozolol. These substances are classified under Category S1.1 - Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) in the World Anti-Doping Agency's (WADA) Prohibited List for 2024.Compliance with Anti-Doping Regulations
