It's my favourite NIN track but I think I give it to Cash - sounds so much more relevant and appropriate coming from him all stripped back in the acoustic version.

Cash all the way, you can really feel the emotion coming from him. His voice alone with how it sounds tells a story by itself.

I too vote for Cash. He really makes it sound like he has lived every word he sings.

Cash did a lot of great covers but this is his best followed by "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright". It's much better than the NiN version.

Hell even Trent Reznor thinks that Cash's version is better than his own.

Cash, no doubt about it. As was mentioned above, reznor admitted cash did it better. God's gonna gut you down is great too.
