Commonwealth junior middleweight title - Jason Welborn vs. JJ Metcalf

Undefeated JJ Metcalf will square off with Jason Welborn for the Commonwealth Junior Middleweight title on June 15 at the First Direct Arena in Leeds. Metcalf has 19 wins and 11 KOs while Welborn has a fight record of 24-7 and 7 KOs. The fight is the undercard in the Warrington-Galahad bout.

The body shots proved fatal for Jason Welborn that he was knocked down by the successive body shots released by JJ Metcalf in the 8th round to win the Commonwealth junior middleweight title. Still undefeated, Metcalf now has a record of 20 wins and 12 KOs while Welborn has 24-8 and 7 KOs for his scorecard.
