In recent news from the Islamic Republic of Iran, a former bodybuilder was brutally tortured in jail. The terrible images of Khaled Pirzadeh reflect the agony he has endured over the years. Significantly, after four years in prison for "insulting the leadership," Pirzadeh was freed on Saturday. The torture of the bodybuilder, on the other hand, was reported in a message written to the UN Special Rapporteur on the state of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In 2018, Khaled Pirzadeh was detained on allegations of "assembly and cooperation with the goal of disturbing the country's security" and "insulting the leadership." Nonetheless, he was sent to Ahvaz jail in 2021. From then on, the bodybuilder's life was terrible. Khaled explained his bad position in the voice note. "I am speaking to you from the dungeons of persecution and tyranny in Iran," he stated. I've been hospitalized in Ahvaz Central Prison for almost sixteen months owing to injuries caused by the Islamic republic's ruthless agents."
Many health complications have arisen as a result of the bodybuilder's poor jail conduct throughout the years. He had a shattered left leg, a damaged back, renal failure, and cardiac problems. Since his injuries, the former bodybuilder has reportedly received over 6000 pain medications and 900 serums.
