if you're referring to classic powerlifting form than yes it was perfect. however i think your referring to ronnie in the way he deadlifts, which he does so his back is doing all the work instead of his legs in beginning. the way ronnie does it is essentially a stiff legged deadlift, which makes it all the more impressive.

anyway this dude got serious strength, but like duality said i prefer deadlifting like ronnie which is basicly almost a stiffed leg dead.. gets more out of your back than let the legs do most of the work..
