The WBC has named its 2nd Franchise Champion in the person of lightweight champion Vasilly Lomachenko. The first to be given the title is middleweight champion Saul Canelo Alvarez. Critics do not agree with such a title because it only tends to confuse the people since there is a lighweight champion, an interim champion so what is a Franchise Champion all about?
