John McCain wants to delay the debate this friday to meet with Barack Obama to take care of the U.S. economic problems. Here is the article. What do you guys think of this. Personally McCain is retarded when it comes to economics so I just think he is trying to look good

It's a political stunt to make it appear like he cares more about the economy than Obama. I just hope Obama doesn't agree to do the same, that would be what McCain wants.

Plus, he gets some time off from campaigning, he'll get some headline news for this stunt, and he may be able to prevent getting owned Friday night.

It's a ploy. Both suck, and have the same policies, just slightly different degrees. None of them would actually revamp the system, the way Dr. Paul would, and change the monetary policy as a whole.

Regardless, it's government which has caused these economic problems. Thus, why should people expect government to fix them?
