:linedrunk:

President Bush delivered the first pitch tonight at the new Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. to a resounding chorus of boos. After being announced, Bush was showered by boos as he strode to the mound. Even after Bush delivered the pitch, the jeering did not let up until the President disappeared from the field.

I heard way more cheering than boos, you could hear the boos in the background. But there was way more cheering for him. Also, he had a hell of a good arm on him. Usually the President (or most guest pitchers) do not even make it to the mound.

lmao wow. EVERY major news outlet huh? i'll tell you what would have been surprising.... if no one booed him. c'mon now this is expected, it's almost cool to dislike/hate our president.

now if they had thrown something at him, then that would be thread worthy....
from now on, I will forward you all potential thread ideas prior to posting them....so I can get your approval.

20, I went down that road before, don't challenge the Gods (Pain, Line, Tech...etc) you'll just get brutally raped. Anyways, I did hear more cheers than boo's, but that's typical, you can't satisfy everyone.

When Sept 11 happened and he went to throw out the first pitch at Yankee Stadium (I was there) you could feel the ground shake beneath you from the thunderous ovation he got when he came out on to the field.

Things have certainly changed since then.....

huh? i'm just being a smartass. this wasn't an arguement or anything i was just poking fun at his post. someone who i would really think twice about before insulting though is line. guy seems to really know his stuff.

no harm though as i'm sure tech didn't take it personally and if he did that's not what i intended

unless hilliary gets elected, then he'll have to settle for second :keke:

:49: so true, I do not see Obama or McCain doing much better but at least McCain actually has experience. Either way, Bush left anyone who wins this election with a lot on the plate and I do not see either one making anything better. We are in for a rough four more years :skurred:

America is in big big trouble, the economy is tanking and the special interests are out of control. I would seriously recommend going to considerable lengths to protect yourself both physically (see 2nd amendment) and financially.
