ur sport for Olympics will be classic bodybuilding” – President Santonja said at the Team Managers Meeting prior to the 2013 IFBB World Classic Bodybuilding Championships in St. Poelten, Austria. Then IFBB President informed about bodybuilding participation in the Olympic Program events – “Next weekend we will go to Peru to take part in the Bolivarian Games. Next year our sport will be official medal sport at the 2014 Asian Beach Games. In 2015 we will participate in the first European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan.” Dr. Santonja also expressed his satisfaction with the IFBB recent activity. “We are growing in all categories. Few years ago a contest with 100 participants was a big contest. Now we have over 800 competitors at Arnold Classic Europe and more than 100 in Classic Bodybuilding only.”
