Roddick and Clijster to tennis hall of fame

Recentely inducted to the tennis hall of fame was Andy Roddick, a popular player in his time who failed to win a grand slam due to the strength of the big 4 of tennis – Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray. Also inducted was Kim Clijster of Belgium who was a perennial figure in the semis and finals during her time. As hall of famers, Roddick and Clijster will have the right to vote for the next hall of famers.

Something about Roddick is not really passing the smell test for me. I think it has to do with the fact that every single time I watched him in a big match and was rooting for him, he lost. Just never seemed to make that jump.
