Born in Koothuparamba, Kannur, Shinu faced economic challenges from a young age. To support his education, he undertook various labor-intensive jobs, including headloading and welding. At 18, Shinu's passion for fitness led him to 'Gym Zone' in Koothuparamba, where he trained under the guidance of Mahesh Babu, a fitness expert associated with the Indian Railways. This mentorship laid the foundation for his future successes in the bodybuilding arena.

Shinu's dedication bore fruit as he clinched numerous titles on both national and international stages. Notably, he secured three World Championships and three Asia Championships, along with a South Asia title. His victories in the World Bodybuilding and Sports Physique competitions held in Thailand (2018, 2022) and South Korea (2019) are particularly commendable.

Appointment to the Kerala Police
