Notice how the US version copied the UK version in their first few episodes? They tried to make it the same but that sort of humor doesn't work in the US I guess.

the US version borrowed various plotlines from the UK version throughout the first two seasons.

but since the UK version only lasted two seasons (12 episodes) and the US version has done four seasons (67 episodes), the don't borrow plots anymore.

The US version is definitely one of my favorite shows... but the UK version is better. The comedy is brilliant.

i got no idea which one is which,
which ever one has the guy from 40 yr old virgin in it, i wouldnt mind watching the whole series of it, ive only seen parts of it on utube

UK? That guy is not even as remotely funny or as good of an actor as Carrell? :dunnodude:

Hell no dude, Carrell is funny as hell I won't deny that, but Ricky Gervais is way funnier than him in that role. The humour is more subliminal in the UK version I think, which may not play well for US audiences who seem to prefer more in-your-face laughs. Thanks to my Mum I grew up on british humour and I think its piss funny. :coolguy:
