The WBC super flyweight belt remains intact in the waist of Juan Francisco Estrada after winning by TKO in the 9th round over challenger Dewayne Beamon. The promising offensive of the relatively unknown Beamon was aborted when Estrada hit him with 2 good shots for 2 knockdowns in the 2nd round. When Beamon was already spent and hurt with the body punches, the referee stopped the fight to give the deserving win to Estrada.
