Lesukov placed 2nd (winning the HW class)

Overall comparisons:

From what I've heard on other boards, he refused the Pro card that came with this win, reason being he doesn't feel like he is ready to be a Pro, also his age, 38 years old.

turning down a pro card is stupid. Why wouldnt he just accept the card but not compete as a pro until he feels he is ready?

You are absolutely right... to me it seems like a "self-promotion gimmick", now he will be remembered as "the guy who refused Pro Card"!

If he were so honest & righteous he would have refused the first place saiing that even a blind man can see Lesukov won this show!

Also just by the by... what the hell did Sami Haddad get out of this whole exercise other than devaluing his World Chamionship title??? If he doesnt want to turn pro (which he doesnt) then he should stick to the WC alon!

What a dumbass. Good luck being a bad-ass amateur! He'll probably never get this chance again, or does he think that he's going to pack on some serious mass at his age, and others won't?

About the pro card fee--if he can afford competing at AC then he shouldn't have problem with that.

I mean...whatever.

I don't know, but it seems to me, that Lesukov should have won that overall and receive a pro card. He has WAY MORE potential as a pro than Botthof + the fact that Botthof turned that pro card down. BS if you ask me. Also, Lesukov is more complete than Botthof, who also has quite weak legs (and he is already quite old). Whatever.

Lesukov looks like he has breasts. Matthias deserves the win. It's about time we see a paradigm shift in bodybuilding. Getting as large as possible while throwing out aesthetics is getting old.
