"You see in order for me to shoot far enough, first I had to be pulled way back, took aim and focused on my target...just like shooting an arrow-zoning in to that tunnel vision focused on that bullseye.
I can’t tell you how many times I got ahead of myself. How many times I took a shot but didn’t make it. Wasn’t even close most of the time. It was those times when I learned to fine tune my focus. Focus wasn’t my strong point. My mom said growing up I was diagnosed with ADD. It was a process for me from day 1.
I thank God that He gave me a mother that always made me apply myself over and over and over again because she knew my potential but she also knew that it was never going to be easy for me to reach that potential if I didn’t learn the discipline of perseverance. No matter what. No matter how many times I need to start over. Keep starting over until it finally clicks. Then I learned to truly excel. Once you get to a certain point-which is like an invisible wall that’s standing right between your current status and your success-once you’re able to break through that wall, everything and anything is possible.
I thank God that He gave me a wife that also recognized my weakness and knew the type of discipline that it required of me to be successful in what I do. She has never stopped pushing me. Making me refocus. Over and over again. Now, here I am."

That single moment...?? Winning the @mrolympiallc in 2019 was not only a dream come true in that moment but it changed my life all for the better...?? my entire life literally shifted into a completely different direction...I’m humbled and thankful for all of the countless opportunities that have been and continue to come my way since becoming Mr. Olympia and this is just the beginning!
Currently working on getting our 2nd and 3rd @carbon_culture_usa gym locations open in the next few months and a few other projects that I am not able to speak on at this time that are game changers.
Keep working toward your goals guys and gals! Don’t give up hope and pursue what makes you feel ALIVE!
